About the artwork

The Clown Masters is a beautiful adaptation of the original painting, The Steel Masters by Rembradt van Rijn. Another painting from the "Old Masters with a wink" series . The original work, dated 1662 hangs in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Who knows, maybe this version will soon be hanging on your wall!!! After many years of experimenting with different techniques, materials and subjects, Lianne Schotman has now created her own unique style. She combines digital art with painting, drawing inspiration from PopArt, StreetArt, among others. By merging different images, colours and textures, a beautiful interplay is created. Favourite subjects of hers are well-known icons in a broad sense. Stars like, Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte, or 90S fashion models like Linda Evangelista. Another favourite subject of hers are "Old Masters", but with a wink!!! But also mysterious faces, where she blends rugged backgrounds, colours and the faces. The colours she uses are very specifically chosen and will add value to your interior. The paintings are an eye-catcher in your Vintage, Modern chic, Urban or Industrial interior. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
