Utrecht City Hall is housed in a complex of buildings on the Stadhuisbrug, which spans the Oudegracht canal. The current complex is the result of numerous renovations over the centuries.
The approximately two-kilometre-long Oudegracht can be seen as the connecting piece between the Kromme Rijn and the Vecht rivers and cuts through the entire city centre from south to north.
