About ‘The Chaumont viaduct in France (1857), oblique perspective’ by Jan van den Broek

Chaumont lies at the confluence of the Marne and the Guise. The town has had a station on the Paris-Montpellier/Marseille railway line since 1855; to this end an imposing stone railway viaduct was built, which is now the town's most striking building. The viaduct is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

Original created by Jan van den Broek.
