The second oldest funicular in the world Budavári Sikló on Castle Hill in the Hungarian capital Budapest. The funicular made its first test run in 1869 and was inaugurated in 1870 after several improvements. Originally, only state employees rode the cable car to get to the top of Castle Hill. Today, the railroad is used by tourists from all over the world.
