About "The Bridal Suite - oil painting"

About the artwork

A painting with a new subject within my collection. Want a bit of magic? Then read on.

I love being able to create and share images that pop into m'n head. You know those experiments where they stick someone's head full of electronics and then, with any luck, a fuzzy grey shadowy image appears on a screen? And everyone cheers because they have read someone's thoughts? Well, painting is at least as magical. No threads, no guesswork, no blurred figures. Just paint and a crystal-clear image of what is going on in my head. Every day I still see it as a gift that I can achieve that with drawing and painting.

And then we can use words to create a story around the image and really bring the main character to life. Once she appeared on the canvas, I started wondering things. Where was she? Dressed as she is probably not somewhere in a Chinese restaurant on the corner or a hotel lobby. Why is her hair wet? And why the glittering earrings? Is she on her way to a party? What is that space behind her? Is she alone? What is she looking at? The fish, or is she seeing something behind the aquarium? Does she see us?
And then a title came to mind. One that adds a story to the painting, but still leaves enough room for you to create your own fantasy world around it.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
