During a walk in the city I took a picture from a roof terrace and now drew it with charcoal. The shadows are strongly indicated and give an abstract image.
The Bavo Church in Haarlem is in the center of the city. Next to the church are small houses with several stores. The church and its surroundings are very picturesque and are therefore visited by many tourists. Many old houses near the church have been restored and it is good walking and shopping in the center of Haarlem.
The Bavo rises above Haarlem and can be seen well even when one is outside the city of Haarlem.
