About ‘Terschelling: the jetty near Lies’ by Erik Brons
This jetty at Lies is a lovely place to hang around and enjoy the view of the Wadden Sea.
In the summer there is a complete jetty, but in the colder months only these wooden poles remain. Photographically I find this the most interesting time, especially when the wind starts blowing and the clouds can form beautiful lines in the sky!

Erik Brons
Rotterdam-Hoogvliet, Netherlands
My works originate from an idealistic representation of existing ideas that I have. With landscapes, I try to create the image in exactly the right circumstances so that the image comes as close as possible to this ideal picture. With the more creative compositions I think up a fantasy and try to execute it as beautifully as possible.
