Tallship Christian Radich from Norway.
This beautiful white ship was built in 1937 and is known, among other things, for her role in the 1970s television series The Onedin Line. It never sailed as a freighter, but was built directly as a training ship in Norway. With the exception of World War II, the Christian Radich has always sailed as a training ship from Oslo.
The foundation that keeps the ship in service has a contract with the Norwegian Navy, so finances are partly fixed. Still, it remains difficult to keep a ship of this calibre in service and meet all the stringent regulations. The ship has a permanent crew of about'20 people and can carry a maximum of 80 trainees.
