The Dutch coast never ceases to fascinate me. Beautiful skies, endless beaches, strong surf and beautiful dunes. The dune landscape was created over 5,000 years ago by rising sea levels. Here, parts of Dutch history are still visible and tangible. For example, there are old water towers, arable land, beautiful country houses and remnants of the Atlantic Wall; the defence line built by Germany during World War II to prevent invasion from the sea.
