About "TWILIGHT"

About the artwork

TWILIGHT is a painting of a typical, flat and vast Dutch winter landscape. The scene is transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with a blanket of shimmering snow and ice as far as the eye can see.

The eye is drawn to the distant horizon, where dark silhouettes skate gracefully across the frozen plain. Their presence adds a sense of movement and life to the serene and still landscape, adding a touch of playfulness and joy to the painting.

Above the frozen landscape, the sky takes centre stage, with a breathtaking spectrum of colours. The orange, purple and blue hues flow seamlessly into each other and form a dramatic backdrop against the white snow. The vibrant colour palette of the sky evokes a sense of transition between day and night, as the last remnants of daylight gradually give way to the arrival of dusk.

This painting captures the essence of a Dutch winter, where freezing temperatures transform the landscape into a spectacular icy stage. The use of light and colour invites viewers to experience the enchantment of twilight and forces them to embrace the peace and quiet that winter brings over the land.

This Mixed Media painting is a combination of a Collage and an Acrylic painting. The ice is constructed with pieces of collage and a layer of acrylic paint. The sky was created using a toothbrush and five different colours of acrylic paint.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
