About the artwork

Switzerland, summer Switzerland is an inland state and Alpine country with an area of 41,284 km² and about 8.6 million inhabitants (2019). Administratively, it is a federal republic consisting of 26 cantons. Switzerland officially has no capital, but Bern fulfils that role in practice and is referred to as the 'federal city'. It is also the seat of the federal government since the creation of the federal state in 1848.[5] Switzerland has a history of neutrality: at the Congress of Vienna in 1815, the country's perpetual neutrality was recognised by the European powers. It is not a member of the European Union, but its economy is strongly intertwined with that of the EU. According to tradition, the Old Oath Society - a confederation that was the forerunner of today's federal state of Switzerland - originated in the 13th century from the Bondsbrief of 1291, an agreement between the three "primordial cantons". Although this gives the country a long history as an independent state, Swiss culture is strongly influenced by that of neighbouring Germany, France and Italy. German, French and Italian are all three official languages in Switzerland, as is Rhaeto-Romanic. The country's 'neutral' name is the Latin name Confœderatio Helvetica (CH).

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
