Sunset over the Atlantic Ocean, Porto, Portugal by Fotografiecor .nl

This image captures the serene magic of the ‘golden hour’ on the Portuguese coast. The composition emphasises the deep, warm colours of the setting sun reflecting off the damp sandy expanse, whilst the flock of seagulls taking flight adds a dynamic and lively element to the otherwise soothing, empty horizon of the Atlantic Ocean.

As a travel photographer, I am always on the lookout for those moments when time stands still for a moment. The coastline near Porto is notorious for its powerful Atlantic swell, but at the end of the day, when the hustle and bustle subsides, the beach transforms into a poetic setting. This image is not just any sunset; it is a record of the raw, authentic beauty of the Portuguese west coast, far removed from the urban hustle and bustle.

This piece brings a calming, dreamy atmosphere into your home and is ideal for a bedroom, meditation room or a minimalist living room. An acrylic glass finish enhances the play of light and the rich, warm colours, allowing the image to serve as a vibrant window onto the ocean.

Bring the soothing serenity of the Portuguese coast into your home. Add this atmospheric panorama to your collection and enjoy the timeless beauty of the Atlantic sunset every day.
