About the artwork

During sunset, the Scheveningen Pier transforms into a magical spectacle that enchants the senses. As the evening sun slowly sinks behind the horizon of the North Sea, the wooden planks and modern steel of the pier are bathed in a warm glow. The gentle breeze carries the salty scent of the ocean, while the sounds of lapping waves and laughing people fill the air.

Various activities stretch along the pier: the Ferris wheel, food stalls and seating areas, and the iconic bungee jumping platform. The Ferris wheel, with its illuminated gondolas, offers an unforgettable panorama of the sea and beach, while the fairground feel is in the air.

Stalls serve delicacies and drinks, and their warm glow blends with the ever-changing colours of the sky. As dusk falls, the pier is illuminated by a fairy-like collection of lights and lamps that create a playful and romantic atmosphere.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
