Sunset on the North Sea beach is made as the tide subsides. A sandbank has dried up and now and then a wave of water flows over a lower part, a channel in the sand. This picture shows the water flowing towards the photographer. The wrinkles of the current are clearly visible, just like the small shells lying in the sand. The setting sun reflects in the water.
