About "Sunset on the Mekong"

About the artwork

As dusk falls over the majestic Mekong River in Luang Prabang, a breathtaking panorama unfolds, enchanting the senses. The sky, drenched in warm colours, is dominated by a glowing orange ball that slowly disappears behind the mountains. The clouds dance in various shades of pink and purple as the sun breathes its last in the daylight.
The magic of the moment is reflected on the banks of the Mekong. Isolated boats, like silent witnesses to the natural spectacle, glide gently across the calm water. Their lights are reflected in the Mekong, as if they are picking up the fading sun and reflecting it in the gentle waves of the river like twinkling stars. The scenery is like a painting in which the contours of the boats blur in the warm glow of the sunset.
The banks of Luang Prabang are caressed by a gentle evening breeze, bringing with it the scent of exotic flowers and the sound of distant nature. The scenery tells stories of days gone by, of adventures on the mighty Mekong and of the infinite beauty captured in the tranquillity of the sunset. Luang Prabang reveals a panorama that not only touches the eyes but also the soul - a timeless image of eternity and transience at the same time.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
