About "Sunset in Port Grimaud"

About the artwork

A soft sunset on a boat rental and French houses in pastel colours in Port Grimaud, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.

This photo was taken with the Pentax 67 on Portra 400 film. This camera allowed me to appropriately capture the vintage atmosphere of this view.

During this warm summer evening in Port Grimaud, the setting sun enveloped this small town in beautiful warm hues. Everything that was already beautiful was enhanced by the soft, golden light. As tourists made their way to restaurants and shops, I captured all the colours, boats and bridges that make this idyllic town so unique. The electric boats, neatly lined up along the quay, created a harmonious composition, while the reflections in the calm water added an almost picturesque effect.

In the background are charming houses with colourful facades and shutters, typical architecture of Provence. The warm yellow and pink tones of the buildings contrast subtly with the cool blue of the sky and water, creating a balanced and atmospheric image. The light and serenity of the moment capture the essence of a summer evening in southern France: serene, timeless and full of charm.

With this photo, I wanted not only to capture a beautiful picture, but also to convey a sense of nostalgia and summer warmth.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
