About "Sunset at the Kerf Schoorl aan Zee"

About the artwork

De Kerf is a beautiful nature reserve on the edge of the Schoorl dunes. Years ago, a Kerf was dug out here in the front row of dunes. The aim was for salt seawater to flow into the valley during storms. This would create brackish water in the valley and improve biodiversity. Over time, the wind closed this Kerf again.
This photo was taken around sunset. You can take photos's at this place every day, evoking a further image and atmosphere each time. The sky is always different. But when I took this photo, the sky was really beautiful. Lots of colour from blue to orange with everything in between.
The marram grass in the foreground comes out nicely and the sand of the dunes shows beautiful waves caused by the wind. The surf was very calm as there was not much wind. The calmness of the photo is also the feeling you get as you sit here enjoying the beautiful spectacle the sun causes in the sky. All you hear are birds and the gentle rustling of the surf. Because de Kerf is only accessible on foot and you have to cycle and walk at least 5km from the town of Schoorl to do so, you don't meet many people here around sunset.
In short, this is a very popular spot for me as a photographer.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
