I took this photo during my trip in Canada. This sunset was truly a gift as we took the ferry from the mainland to Vancouver Island. I saw the boat coming from afar and waited for my moment.

The ferry journey between Vancouver and Vancouver Island is an amazing experience that offers much more than just transport. From the moment you leave the well-equipped departure ports of Tsawwassen or Horseshoe Bay, the magic begins. On board, the Straits of Georgia stretch out before you, with breathtaking views of surrounding islands and the impressive Coastal Mountains in the distance. The fresh sea air and views of the clear, blue waters bring a sense of calm and adventure.

During the crossing, there are countless moments of wonder. Spotting seals diving playfully through the water, sea lions sunbathing lazily on rocks, and sometimes even catching a glimpse of orcas swimming majestically by, make the trip unforgettable. The facilities on board, from cosy cafes and restaurants to comfortable lounges, ensure that you can enjoy this beautiful environment in comfort.

Photographers can indulge in the countless photo opportunities, while others may prefer to relax with a book or simply take in the serene beauty of the sea and sky. The trip also offers opportunities to learn more about the local flora and fauna, making the experience even richer.
