When taking this photo, I put my camera in the wet sand to get a low angle shot of the boulders that belong to the storm breaker at paal 9 on the Wadden Island of Texel. The pink sky reflected a bit in the wet sand. My camera survived, by the way.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use. I like doing macro and close-up photography, so I often lie on my stomach among the bushes. My focus is often on the tranquillity that, if you look closely, can be found everywhere. So also in the busy city. Have fun in my shop and if you have any questions, please contact me.
