Sunrise over the blossoming common heather plants (Calluna vulgaris) in the Veluwe nature reserve at the Renderklippen heathland landscape during sunrise in summer.
The heathland, covered in a mix of grasses and heather, gradually comes to life as the light spreads across the landscape. In late summer, the heather blooms in vibrant purples, creating a striking contrast with the sunlight. Mist lingers in the low-lying areas, adding a mystical quality to the scene, with the sun slowly burning it away.
The surrounding forested areas, rich with pine and deciduous trees, stand as dark silhouettes against the brightening sky.
