Amorsplein in Maastricht is named after the former chapel of St Amor, which stood on this spot. The little square was created in the second half of the 17th century from an older square after the chapel was demolished, and since 1951 has carried a statue with column by Charles Vos, originally from the Basilica of Our Lady.
