Summer Strings - Colourful Pop Art Portrait of Woman with Guitar

by Arjen Roos

Summer Strings is a colourful pop art painting that combines music, freedom and femininity. This modern mixed media artwork shows a woman sitting with her back to the viewer, playing a guitar that partially covers her body. The guitar and her silhouette merge into one expressive form - an ode to creativity, music and the summer freedom that everyone recognises.

The composition is made up of bright patches of colour, abstract textures and soft landscape textures, making it feel both powerful and dreamy. The vibrant colours - red, yellow, blue and green - are reminiscent of the energy of the summer sun, the smell of adventure and the warmth of music sounding through an open window. The style references modern pop art, but also incorporates elements of digital painting and collage, making it a unique digital artwork with a contemporary feel.

The rose tattoo on her shoulder is my digital signature - a subtle but recognisable symbol that appears more often in my work. For me, this tattoo is a personal signature with which I sign my works in the digital world.

Summer Strings is ideal as a modern wall decoration for lovers of music, pop art, digital art and contemporary portraits. The work brings colour, emotion and energy to any space, be it a living room, studio or creative workspace.
