This impressionist oil painting was created by me based on a self-taken photograph I took during a summer walk through a rural landscape in France. The original image - a small, characterful red-roofed house hidden among tall trees and surrounded by a vast flower meadow - was the inspiration for this digital artwork.
Using modern digital painting techniques, I transformed the photo into a painting in which warm, vibrant colours and soft brushstrokes come together to capture the atmosphere of a summer day. The natural stillness of the landscape, the play of sunlight on the field and the lush bloom of wild flowers are thus rendered in a timeless way.
This work is not just a representation of a place, but a personal memory and an ode to the peace and beauty of the countryside, translated into a contemporary form of impressionist art.
