About ‘Strong (silhouette of large, old tree in black and white)’ by Birgitte Bergman
I love trees. Especially when they are very old. What will they have seen and experienced? What if trees could talk? In the beautiful Speulderbos near Ermelo, I came across this old and impressive specimen. The power comes out even more in this photo because of the strong black and white conversion and the low viewpoint.

Birgitte Bergman

A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro shots. I love wandering around in a field, forest or park looking for beautiful flowers, plants or special animals. And when you look through my macro lens, you really see how much beauty…
