This macro photo shows the Chinese Lantern Plant. This version with tri-coloured leaves is always surprising. The leaves can be three colours, or they can be all green, pink or white. Here I have put the focus and sharpness on the tiny pink leaves, the drops on the leaves and the pink flowerpot finish it off.
The official name of this little plant is: Ceropegia Woodii Variegata. A very popular plant among true plant lovers.
The stems of this plant can grow very long, making it very decorative on a cabinet or shelf. It also looks great in a hanging pot.
The Chinese lantern plant requires little care, but too much water can cause root rot. It is best planted in well-drained soil and a pot with drainage. Water the plant moderately and give it a light spot with not too much direct sunlight. If the plant is too dark, it will lose its beautiful colours.
