About ‘Strijp-S High back’ by M10foto

Hoge Rug. The row of sturdy white factory buildings now known as Hoge Rug was constructed by Philips from 1928 onwards. Adjacent to the Veemgebouw stands Anton, formerly known as SBP (completed in 1930), followed by Gerard, formerly SAN (completed in 1929). They were transformed into residential lofts by a single project team, but with two different architectural firms. Diederendirrix designed Anton, recognisable by the sloping canopy that accentuates the passageway to Haasje Over. Jo Coenen, with the firm Coenen Sättele, designed the Gerard building. This resulted in two very different designs for the factory buildings. The design for Gerard is characterised by restraint and meticulous floor plans. Anton stands out for its dynamic internal spatiality. Walk underneath the building and, halfway along, take a look at the diagonally placed staircases visible through the oval opening in the structure. The roof gardens by Buro Lubbers also add an extra element of liveability to both buildings. The third white factory building was known in Philips jargon as ‘Building SK’ and dates from 1928. This ‘Apparatenfabriek’ is in fact the second large-scale factory building to be constructed along Torenallee. The first, Building SL, was demolished in the early 1990s. The current Apparatenfabriek was built as the first radio set factory. After the Second World War, television sets were also produced there for a short time. In addition, after the war the building also served as a picture tube factory and housed a glassworks. The Apparatenfabriek is currently home to numerous businesses.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
