About ‘Streets of Palma I’ by Siedse Jan Photography

This black-and-white photograph, taken in Palma de Mallorca, shows an atmospheric alley opening onto a lighter, open space. The narrow passage is flanked by high, dark walls, the right side of which is embellished with a classic lantern and an open window shutter. The contrast between shadow and light emphasises the depth and structure of the alley. At the end of the alley, the eye catches an old stone wall with a beautiful round rose window, whose detailed design adds historical and architectural charm to the scene. The cobbled street and the subtle lines of the facades add to the nostalgic and almost mysterious atmosphere of the picture.

For many years he has been passionate about photography, especially during his travels, where he developed his love for street photography and portraits. In Mallorca, he found new inspiration, capturing local culture and everyday life. In 2024, he had his first exhibitions at Artists of Mallorca and Knack Art in Mallorca. His work is characterised by his eye for detail and the human stories he captures…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
