There’s something about this scene that stopped me in my tracks. A lone seagull perched on an old streetlamp in Rome, casting the most perfect silhouette against the warm terracotta wall behind it. It’s not just the bird or the shadow—it’s the way the late afternoon sun stretches the moment out, creating something that feels both playful and poetic. The kind of thing you only notice when you're not really looking for anything.

What I love about this image is the layered stillness. The building, with its classic Roman orange and soft architectural lines, holds the light in a way that almost feels painted. Then there’s the bird, doing what birds do—just existing. But its quiet presence, doubled in shadow, feels like a gentle wink from the universe. A moment that could so easily go unnoticed, yet here it is, frozen and full of charm.

To me, this photo feels like a tiny story. A blend of old-world texture and fleeting movement. You’ve got stone, sunlight, and a dash of mischief from a bird that probably doesn’t know it just made art. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
