Explore the breathtaking beauty of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier in Vatnajökull National Park with this unique photo of an ice cave. This glacier is an offshoot of Iceland's largest glacier, the Vatnajökull, and offers one of the most fascinating natural landscapes in the world. In this photo, you can see the distinctive blue ice that is only visible during the winter months, when the sun shines. The ice has taken on unusual shapes and melted in such a way as to create a shallow tunnel, a wondrous and unique image found only in melting glaciers that will completely disappear after just three months.
