About "Strandpret Scheveningen"

About the artwork

Een nog redelijk druk bezocht strand in Scheveningen, laat op de dag, bij een ondergaande zon.

De foto is genomen van de "echte" pier, met zicht op het fantastische Kurhaus (vlaggen aan de rechterkant; http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurhaus_Scheveningen).
In één lijn naar links zien we dan de beroemde pier, die jammerlijk in verval is geraakt nadat zelfs Van der Valk het niet rendabel kon krijgen. Van een afstand ziet de pier, die toch eigenlijk niet verloren zou mogen gaan, er nog goed uit. Echter grote delen zijn niet meer toegankelijk en andere delen zijn erg aangetast door achterstallig onderhoud. (meer info: http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scheveningse_pier).

De foto is genomen met een Nikon D7000 met het erg mooie Nikkor 24-70 mm f/2.8 N ED objectief erop. De instellingen waren f/9, 45 mm brandpuntsafstand (77mm FF-eq), ISO 100. Scherpstelling is manueel uitgevoerd en er is geschoten vanaf een Manfrotto statief.
Het typische licht van ondergaande zon met zijn specifieke mooie kleuren, is gevangen op de kleur van het strand en de "oplichtende gebouwen". Op geen enkel ander moment van de dag is dit zo mooi vast te leggen.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
