About the artwork

This beautiful maritime shot of the wild and proud seagulls on the pier in the Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde was taken in the early afternoon hours of 31 May 2011 with my Nikon D90.

WARNEMÜNDE SEASIDE RESORT
Alongside Markgrafenheide, Diedrichshagen and Hohe Düne, Warnemünde is the best known of the four seaside resorts. The former fishing village and "captain's neighbourhood" Warnemünde has become a popular hotspot for beach holidaymakers, cruisers, water sports enthusiasts and thalassotherapy users. Take a stroll through the charming alleyways and take a look through the windows of the lovingly maintained captain's houses. And Warnemünde offers much more: fresh Baltic Sea fish, majestic cruise ships and the Warnemünde beach, the crowning glory of any holiday. The 14 km long and widest sandy beach in the German Baltic Sea scores highly: with its size, visual appeal or its vibrancy on the promenade.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
