About ‘Stone circle of Calanais, Scotland’ by Adelheid Smitt
Sunset at the historic Callanish Standing Stones, Isle of Lewis, Scotland. This stone circle was erected around 3,000 years ago. It is a cross-shaped pattern with stones placed in a circle around it. In the centre is a larger stone, a monolith, nearly 5 metres high. This is one of the highlights of the Outer Hebrides of Western Isles.

I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
I travel a lot, all over the world, and like to photograph landscapes as well as cities in the blue hour. I hope that my images can inspire you and I would love it if my love for photography can finally make it to your wall.
