Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Still life wilted sunflower’ by Clazien Boot

I wilted this wilted sunflower on purpose. I wanted to see what remained of it. I had received a bouquet for my birthday and it contained 1 sunflower, the colour I love about this summer flower. After keeping it for about two weeks, the colours of the flower were still intense and I captured that. Using the so-called Rembrandt light, it became a work of art. I really enjoy photographing still lifes and coming up with compositions. Check out my other works in the Werk aan de Muur shop. I made a still life of a sunflower before, but it was still very fresh. With this flower, I think the yellow petals in particular are a work of art, they are delicate and dry but the colours are still very beautiful. This colour certainly suits a country interior or someone who likes intense colours.
