About ‘Still life Delphinium II’ by Adje Photography

The flower's vibrant blue tones contrast beautifully with the deep, dark (also blue) background, making it even more alive.

Every detail has been captured with extreme care, from the veins in the petals to the subtle hues that enhance the vibrancy of the flower.

The photo was taken in my home studio, using only daylight, as the old masters did. This ensures that nature is depicted in its purest and most beautiful form.

To achieve the perfect effect, I used a tripod and a slower shutter speed, capturing the light in a refined and honest way. This produces a serene and timeless look that highlights the beauty of the flower.

The background of the painting canvas in deep blue tones enhances the painterly effect and puts the full focus on the flower.
