I was completely unable to resist making a photograph of these twin pine trees with the huge diagonal branch that went all the way through the frame with another diagonal of a fallen tree on the forest floor. This woodland image needed dense fog to separate it from the background and if you would walk through this woodland on a normal day, you would probably not even see this scene, the fog sort of created this temporary vignette for me. I always find it fascinating how two trees grow out of one root system and I hope they will stay united as they were the time I made the image.
