Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Steam locomotive with lantern I Harz, Germany’ by Floris Trapman

The narrow gauge railway in the Harz is operated by steam trains. At Drei Annen Hohne station, my attention was drawn to the many details of the locomotives. These included this warm-colored incandescent lamp, which provides a nice mysterious contrast to the dark black colors of the engine.
