About "Sri Lanka Boat & Bird"

About the artwork

The picture shows a lively coastal scene in Sri Lanka, where a row of colourful fishing boats line the sandy beach. Each boat is uniquely painted in bright shades of blue, red, yellow and green, with decorative patterns and names proudly written on the hulls. The wooden boats show signs of use: peeling paint and weathered ropes indicate countless fishing trips at sea.
In the background, the ocean stretches to the horizon, where the water turns into a soft blue sky with a few scattered clouds. The waves calmly roll onto the beach, while a single bird - possibly a heron or seagull - has just flown up. Its wings are spread wide, and the bird seems to hover on the wind for a moment before disappearing towards open water.
Along the edge of the beach are several palm trees, their long, narrow leaves swaying in the breeze. The scene exudes a sense of calm and authenticity, a snapshot of the daily life of the fishing community. The bright colours of the boats contrast beautifully with the natural tones of sand, sea and sky, giving the picture a vibrant and timeless feel.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
