Square abstract blue – From droplets to spheres and circles

by Marjolijn van den Berg

This photograph: "Vierkant abstract blauw - Van druppels tot bollen en cirkels" is a macro photograph of a collection of tiny water droplets on a blue, reflective surface. The reflection and the shallow depth of field create an abstract image, in which a line of droplets is in focus, whilst everything in front of and behind it gradually fades. This lends the photograph a wonderful sense of depth. As a result, the droplets appear to gradually transform into circles and spheres. If you zoom in on the photograph, you can see this beautifully!

Thanks to its metallic and navy blue colours, this photo on the wall fits perfectly into both a rugged industrial interior and a luxurious, hotel-chic style of living.
You can customise this photo as wall art to suit your preferences at Werk aan de Muur and Art Heroes.
For example, have the photo printed on aluminium to further accentuate the metallic sheen. This can look particularly striking in an industrial interior, for instance. Or opt for Acrylic Glass or HD Metal for a lovely sense of depth with intense colours that look stunning in a chic hotel setting.
ArtFrame and Canvas, on the other hand, lend a much more classic and warm feel to the texture of the droplets. Do you want to really go all out with a major eye-catcher? Then why not consider wall-to-wall wallpaper to create a striking feature using seamless photo wallpaper across the entire wall. ©Marjolijn van den Berg
