Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Sprint to the Horizon’ by Color Square

This expressive artwork captures the tension of a cycling race at the moment when speed, power and concentration converge. The piece depicts a compact peloton moving forward with total determination. The cyclists seem almost to leap out of the canvas, whilst their brightly coloured kits stand out against a light, atmospheric background.

The loose brushstrokes and vertical colour gradients create a strong sense of movement. Shades of blue, pink, yellow and orange blend into one another, suggesting the speed at which the riders are moving. The bicycles and bodies are only partially defined, giving the image an impressionistic quality and placing the energy of the moment at the centre.

Particularly striking is the way the colours move through the work like trails of light. The front riders are clearly taking the lead, whilst the figures behind fade into a colourful haze of action and dynamism. This creates a sense of depth and competition, as if every second counts.

The work exudes perseverance, teamwork and sporting passion. The combination of bold colours, spontaneous brushwork and a dynamic composition makes this artwork an inspiring ode to cycling and to the human drive to keep pushing forward.
