On a sunny, cold February morning, I took this photo in city park de Plantage in Culemborg.
It had been a cold night with night frost and I wanted to capture the coquettes in the picture while the drops of melting frost were still visible. But the sun was also needed, otherwise the flowers won't open. This morning was perfect.
Every year in February, the lawns of city park de Plantage in Culemborg turn into a purple oasis of crocuses. So gorgeous.

The sun in the drops also shows a nice bokeh in the photo.
