The Spoorweghaven is one of the oldest ports in Rotterdam in Rotterdam South. The Spoorweghaven is an elongated piece cargo port that was built on a government initiative for the transhipment of general cargo on the railway. The Spoorweghaven was dug between 1873 and 1879. The Spoorweghaven is located on the site of the old Zwanengat, which separated Feijenoord from the rest of the island IJsselmonde.
Even before the Second World War, Spoorweghaven lost its appeal for shipping.
Nowadays the Spoorweghaven is partially filled and is part of the Kop van Zuid.
