Spanjaardsgat seen from the Hoge Brug in the city center of the Dutch city of Breda, province of North Brabant. The Spanjaardsgat is the water gate located between the Granaattoren (left) and the Duiventoren (right) of Breda Castle. The spot is often associated with the Turfship of Breda (1590) during the Eighty Years' War. The photo was taken on a sunny late summer day.
