About the artwork

An old church with weathered walls, tall windows through which the light falls beautifully, and in the middle of this setting a proud Spanish stallion. This is horse photography at its finest. The incident light envelops the horse and gives him an almost mythical appearance. As if he belongs here, as if this moment has always existed.

The horse in the picture is Preferido, an Andalusian, or as connoisseurs say, a Pura Raza Española (PRE). A grey that gets whiter and whiter with age and, with its long mane and stately stance, has exactly the look this breed is so loved for. But Preferido is more than just a beautiful horse. He has a past, a story. Once badly neglected, now a powerful and loving animal with a gentle look and calm energy. That is what makes him so special and why he is the perfect model time and again.

For horse lovers, this is a dream picture. The combination of the centuries-old church interior with the elegance of a grey creates an atmosphere that is both powerful and serene. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
