From the age of eight, when I got my own roll film camera for my birthday, I have been busy with photography.
I try to find the beautiful and valuable in my immediate surroundings.
Not to be grand and compelling, but to zoom in on the small beauty that often literally lies at your feet.
Most of the pictures shown here are taken within a radius of 50 kilometres from my home town (Heerhugowaard).
