It is quiet. Windless. The heather is blooming. The sun rises behind the forest edge. The clouds over the heathland fan out colourfully, a feast to watch. The sky turns yellow, pink and orange. The blanket of mist lifts, revealing the heather in the foreground in shades of pink to purple. A lone tree stands in the middle of the heath.
This work is simply constructed in a few layers: heather, trees and sky. It will be able to have a calming and spatial effect in an interior. It will also be a nice addition outdoors and brighten up the garden. Or hang it in a bedroom and dream away at this scene.
