"Soft natural abstraction: Droplets on grass spikes" is a macro shot of some water droplets hanging from a grass spike (lamprey grass). The colours in this photo give it a natural look. The light brown tones (including beige and taupe) and the grey-coloured background partly ensure this. The natural (blurred) representation of the grass spikes also contributes to this. Peace and simplicity. Because I chose a very small depth of field when taking this photo, only a few droplets / small pieces of spikes are in focus. The other parts blur the further they get from this focus point (plane), giving a great sense of depth to the work. In the background, you can see other sprigs of the spikes faintly in light grey-brown tones. In the foreground, you can see the sprigs of spikes with the water droplets attached. The blurriness of this work (and also the editing) makes the work appear almost painterly in the out-of-focus areas. If you zoom in, you can get an impression.
