Snippets of the city – stories in black, white and red

by KRAB

It’s as if, at a single glance, you catch glimpses of a bustling city full of secret stories, phone calls, deals and chance encounters.

This urban collage feels like an entire film in a single image. In various frames, you see city streets, building facades, cars, silhouettes and portraits of people in suits and elegant attire. Some look serious, others walk through anonymous streets; together they form a mosaic of encounters, tension and everyday drama.

Everything is constructed in stark black and white, with large swathes of bright red shooting through the work like visual exclamation marks. These colour accents provide rhythm and energy, as if we were leafing through advertising posters, newspaper photos and comic strips.

The composition is dynamic and graphic: there is no moment of rest; your gaze continues to wander through the various scenes. This artwork is perfect for anyone who loves the city, design and a touch of film noir atmosphere on the wall.

Black-and-white graphic collage with red panels, filled with cinematic cityscapes and portraits of people in suits and dresses, as if scenes from an exciting urban history were coming together.

Suitable for interiors such as: Modern, industrial and loft interiors as a bold statement piece. Living room, home office or hallway for a creative, urban look. Office spaces, workspaces and creative agencies as inspiring wall decoration. Bars, hotels and cafés with an urban, film or design style.
