This Nepali lady was selling clothes with embroidery close to our hotel. Her husband was just down the road embroidering logos's and texts on clothes in a workshop. He was darn handy with an old sewing machine. Every day I walked past her and we exchanged glances and smiles. I asked if I could do a portrait of her. She really liked that. I sent the photo, through her husband, to her when I was back in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, I never got a response back from him or her, so I don't know if she ever received the photo. I bought two t-shirts from her as a thank you for the photo.
