About ‘Smidwater-Maliebrug The Hague’ by Irina Rammos

This is a painting depicting the pittoresque Malibrug over the Smidswater in the Hague. The bridge is an 18th century built and really adds magic to the area. I used bright colors using palette knives in impressionism style to depict the dreamy atmosphere in springtime.

The Hathor restaurant depicted in the painting is also a well known spot for locals to enjoy the sun over the water. As a local I have often walked in this area for inspiration, I hope it will serve you inspiration and relaxation as well.
