About "Small boat at sea near Cascais, Portugal"

About the artwork

A vertical photo print taken in the town of Cascais, along the south coast of Portugal. In the distance, a small white boat sails by over the deep blue atlantic ocean.

The photo was taken from a small square with small houses in traditional Portuguese architecture on both sides. From the white wall is a beautiful distant view of the sea and the rest of the coast.

The square is full of plants and flowers of all colors. In this picture you can just see the pink of the ivy.

While walking through the streets of this beautiful village, I immediately noticed the combination of warm colors. Blue, green, white, pink. A beautiful and soothing combination.

The composite also appealed to me immediately. I found it such a beautiful contrast that I (seem to) walk at the same pace as the sailing ship passes by. Each living their own day, feeling their own way, planning their own plan, walking at their own pace and yet moving in the same direction. It feels like with this photo I have secretly captured an anonymous moment of another. A moment when we were both walking under the warm Portuguese sun, enjoying our life, the peace, the space, the freedom.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
